Overview
Ferrograte offers a range of S.S Tactile Indicators as per the BS EN 10088-1. The Stainless-Steel Tactile Indicators assists to providing a Safer Environment for the Blind and Visually Impaired Person. After Installed on the Pedestrian Floor, it will alert the Visually Impaired for Hazards or Change of Direction Ahead.
The types are follows:
- Decision Stud (Circular Type)
- Directional Strips (Rectangular Type)
Type 1 – Decision Stud (Circular Type)
S.S Tactile Indicator Circular Studded pattern which will indicate a Potential Hazard or change in direction/location.


Type 2 – Directional Strips (Rectangular Type):
S.S Tactile Indicator elongated striped pattern, which will indicate the Direction of Travel to the Blind and Visually Impaired Person.

These are commonly using in Metro Stations, Commercial Buildings, Shopping Malls, Walkways, Ramps, Footpaths, Landing, Bus-stops, Etc.,
